Castelfranc is a large village with two bar/restaurants,
one good, one bad, (see the general information section for details and recommendations),
a post office, hairdresser and baker.
Like all the towns and villages in the area, Castelfranc has it's fête in the summer, usually in mid-August. This normally involves a small fairground located in the town square, and a local dance band. After dark everyone joins a lantern lit parade down to the river where there is a firework display.
